Art is not just a hobby or a profession, it is a passion that has the power to transcend boundaries and connect people from different parts of the world.
Ramier Vitas is a contemporary painter who was born on April 14, 1991, in Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Due to the divorce of their parents at a young age, they were raised by their grandparents and completed their primary and university education in their hometown of Kinshasa. It was at an art school where they discovered their passion for art, which was inspired by their uncle, a professional architect.
In 2008, they embarked on their artistic career by joining a group of young and talented artists. The individual was mentored by EDDY KAMUANGA ILUNGA and PETER KALALA, which allowed them to grow significantly in their pursuit of an artistic career. Seeking further opportunities, the individual relocated from Kinshasa to Lubumbashi in 2014 but only stayed for two months before migrating to South Africa.
In South Africa, they continued to pursue their education by enrolling in Graphic Advertising and Design at The DC College (Damelin Correspondence College) in Johannesburg. Having participated in many artistic activities in Kinshasa, the individual is now seeking opportunities to participate in local and international art events worldwide.
